Can you tell us a bit about your business, Yonsei 41 Skin Clinic?
It’s a skin laser clinic in Seoul, South Korea. As you know, K-beauty is a trending issue right now. My role concerns skin health. My clinic addresses skin texture and tone, as well as aging and other dermatologic diseases.
What inspired you to start the clinic?
Well, I graduated from Yonsei Medical College, and dermatology was my first pick — to become a specialist. Naturally, I started my own clinic.
What has been the most challenging part of running Yonsei 41 Skin Clinic?
The branding of my clinic and human resources have been the most challenging part.
And what has been the most exciting and challenging?
Every moment is exciting and surprising, but overcoming the pandemic period was tough.
How did your time at JIS support your venture?
My time at JIS has definitely been the most important part of my life, as it broadened my perspective and gave me inspiration to be more creative in my business.
What was the last movie you watched?
I was introduced to the Korean drama series When Life Gives You Tangerines and recently watched About Family on Netflix. Both remind me of the importance of family love.
If you could eat only one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Mie ayam! I can never forget that dish.
What was your favorite subject or class at JIS?
My favorite subject was Ancient and Medieval History. I will never forget all the activities, such as the medieval banquet.
What is your favorite spot on the JIS campus?
My favorite spot on JIS is the Dragon Fountain.
