As the 2025–2026 academic year gets underway here at JIS, our campuses are alive with the joyful sounds of learning and student chatter — a new generation of Dragons turning moments into memories, just as you once did.

Our Alumni Team has been just as busy, planning reunions across the globe to bring Dragons together. You’ll find more information about these upcoming gatherings in this newsletter, along with exciting details about our school’s 75th birthday celebration in 2026 — a very special reunion that will take place in both Jakarta and Bali.

I also encourage you to explore and register for our new Alumni Online Community, launched this week, tailor-made from Dragon feedback.

This edition of Dragon News shines a well-deserved spotlight on more of our accomplished alumni who are making waves in their chosen fields, from journalism and cybersecurity to social innovation and logistics. You’ll also find updates on Dragons who have recently visited JIS campuses and others who are reaching new milestones in their lives and careers. As a JIS Alumna and now Head of School, these stories are a stirring reminder of the lasting impacts JIS can have on the paths we choose to take. I hope you’ll join me in celebrating their unique journeys!

Thank you for staying connected, for supporting our school and another, and for being such an important part of the JIS story. I look forward to seeing many of you at the upcoming reunions!
