75 Faces of JIS

As we prepare to celebrate the milestone 75th Anniversary of JIS, we invite your help in recognizing the people who have helped shape our community.

The 75 Faces of JIS project celebrates members of our community who have helped shape the school’s 75-year history. We are looking to recognize Dragons who exemplify the JIS Values and Spirit, and whose stories reflect different eras and experiences across our community.

Spanning the decades from 1951 to today, the 75 Faces of JIS project will highlight Dragons who have lived our values, made a meaningful impact, and helped shape the future of our school, or perhaps even the world!

This initiative will celebrate members of the JIS community — alumni, faculty, and staff, past and present — whose contributions reflect the spirit and values that define JIS. Through their stories, we hope to showcase the many ways Dragons have influenced our community across different eras of the school’s 75-year history.

Who would you nominate? 

Nominations should include individuals who have contributed to JIS in meaningful ways and whose impact on the community has been especially memorable, including current or former staff, faculty, leaders, or alumni who have achieved meaningful accomplishments in their lives and whose connection to the school reflects the spirit and values of JIS. 

We encourage you to share the names of those you believe deserve to be recognized for their contributions to the JIS story. We look forward to reading your nominations and celebrating these remarkable members of our Dragon community. (Decisions will be made in the Spring of 2026, and based on finding representation from each decade and constituent group.)

Use our 75 Faces of JIS Form to nominate a JIS Dragon to be considered as one of the 75 Faces of JIS. Nominations may include alumni who have achieved meaningful accomplishments in their lives, as well as individuals whose impact on the JIS community was especially memorable during their time at the school.

This is your opportunity to share their story and tell us why they should be honored as part of this special anniversary celebration.
