Anak JIS Pulang Kampung: Taleb Shkoukani

In Taleb Shkoukani's (Class of 2006) first visit back to JIS since graduating, he marveled at how much the school had changed while finding comfort in the familiar.

"It was a very surreal feeling," he shared.

While in Jakarta visiting his mother, Taleb took the opportunity to show his wife and son both the city and the school that shaped his childhood. Together, they explored many of his favorite spots around campus, and he even caught up with his former teacher, Yuichiro Hara.

After attending Ohio Wesleyan University in the United States, Taleb lived in New York for about seven years before moving to Denver, Colorado, where he currently works as a Principal Customer Solutions Manager for Snapdocs.
