Kick off the Bali weekend at the breathtaking, UNESCO-recognized SAKA Museum at the Ayana Resort in Jimbaran. Thanks to its Dragon family owners, you’ll enjoy a private visit followed by drinks and light refreshments in the stunning museum garden.

Retro outfits from your JIS era are highly encouraged, but the focus is simply on having fun and celebrating together.
Dress comfortably for Bali's warm weather and an open-air venue with grass underfoot.
The big celebration! At the spectacular clifftop venue Puri Bhagawan in Jimbaran, we’ll toast the Bali sunset, then gather with our decade groups for a night of dinner and dancing with live music from every JIS era. The focus is on fun, and retro outfits from your JIS era are highly encouraged!
You will be welcomed by the sounds of Gamelan and a refreshing coconut to enjoy the sunset accompanied by canapés and free-flow beer, wine, and soft drinks from 17:00. This will also be the time to pose with your friends and family at our photo booths, and be sure to arrive in time for the giant group photo planned for 17:30.
It is 'free seating' for dinner (no fixed seating plan). There will be areas for each alumni decade (eg. if you graduated between 1980-1989, the 80s area is for you!). If your friends and family span decades, you can also sit together - it's your choice. Dinner is a traditional Indonesian Buffet Feast with tables set for 10-12 people in our tented dining area. Our local band and DJ will have you dancing across the eras from Elvis to Taylor Swift!
The venue is open-air - please dress to be comfortable with the Bali summer weather and grass underfoot. There are standard bathroom facilities.
You will be able to shop for a limited range of JIS merch at our Dragon Store 'Pop-Up' (cashless payments) and opportunities to donate to our fundraising program to support the next 75 years of JIS!
